Truckers fundraise thousands for Lifeline North Coast

Our team are so proud to work for Lifeline North Coast where we are seeing the ripple effect of community generosity and support flowing through our region. This week more good news was shared as Brooke Seccombe, sister of Tom Seccombe, who was one of two truck drivers acknowledged in a truck convoy memorial and special fundraiser with all proceeds being donated to Lifeline North Coast late last year.

Once again the trucking community have done it – with Brooke designing and printing shirts in honour of her late brother and donating all proceeds to our organisation so far close to $10,000 and still counting. This generous donation, helps us provide the vital work of running our 13 11 14 crisis support phone line, training and recruiting volunteers, and developing training programs for the truck and construction industry to better support and educate drivers on mental health and wellbeing as a priority.

EVERY dollar donated to Lifeline North Coast, stays in our region to support our community and reach those who need our help most. There isn’t a day lately that we haven’t felt immense pride, that we are reaching those that need us most with the full support and encouragement from our local community.
