Become a Retail, Warehouse or Events Volunteer

The Lifeline Crisis Support and Suicide Prevention 13 11 14 Helpline is solely funded by earnings from Lifeline Shops.  Our shops depend on our volunteers to run smoothly.

We have some great volunteering opportunities at each of our five Lifeline North Coast Shops – Toormina; West High St and Vernon St, Coffs Harbour; Grafton and Nambucca Heads. We also have volunteering roles at our warehouse in Toormina, and at our community events.

Becoming a retail or events volunteer is a chance for you to brush up on skills, learn something new, gain invaluable experience and help strengthen your local community.

Most of all just a couple of hours of your week could be life-changing to people in crisis.

Lifeline North Coast’s vision is for an Australia free of suicide, and on a local level when you volunteer with us you become part of the solution. Eight Australians die every day by suicide. That’s more than double the road toll, and for each life lost to suicide, the impacts are felt by up to 135 people, including family members, work colleagues, friends, first responders at the time of death.

We need the support of like-minded people and organisations who will join us at the front line of suicide prevention.

With the assistance of our Volunteer Coordinator, you will be matched in a position that fits your skills, your strengths, and most of all one that meets your expectations.
