We run a range of training courses including:

  • DV-Alert - Domestic and Family violence awareness
  • MHFA - mental health first aid
  • safeTalk and ASIST - Suicide prevention - Learning how to recognise signs of and how to talk about suicide, in community, with family and friends and at work.
  • Psychological First Aid - teaching communities how to deal with loss due to extreme traumatic events such as bush fires, floods and other catastrophic events.

DV-alert is the free training program about recognising the signs of domestic and family violence and learning what to do next

When you attend one of our free public awareness or specialist frontline worker workshops you will learn will learn how to recognise the signs of domestic violence, learn how to respond to this situation and you will lean how to refer the person on to the help and assistance they need.

Lifeline North Coast runs  a number of the DV-aware and DV-alert accredited courses in Coffs Harbour and the mid north coast each year.  Refer to the DV-alert page on our website to secure your spot.

Mental Health First Aid® (MHFA™) teaches people the skills to help someone who they're concerned about. MHFA teach people simple, practical first aid skills for helping a family member, friend, co-worker or other person who is experiencing mental health problems.

Lifeline North Coast offer Mental Health First Aid® (MHFA™) training to the mid and mnorth coast community.  We run a number of 2 day MHFA courses each year.  Check out our training calendar and the MHFA page to secure your spot.
