Domestic and Family violence is a wicked and complex problem. Whilst DFV can affect anyone in our community, everyone in community can also learn how to recognise and understand the signs of DFV, and learn what to do to help.
Lifeline North Coast delivers multiple DV-alert training workshops across the North Coast of NSW each year.
These workshops are for a wide range of people, from the general public (Over 18yrs) – DV-aware, to frontline workers – DV-alert, who need to understand the complexities of domestic and family violence.
DV-alert courses for 2022/2023 are being added to the Training Schedule as soon as details are available. Drop your email in the form BELOW and we will be sure to send times and dates straight to your inbox.
Join Liz and Colleen in conversation as they discuss some of the complexities around Domestic and Family Violence. Liz is an experienced Social Worker and Lifeline Accredited Trainer who has specialised in this field for over 30 years. Colleen is a wellness coach and speaks openly and honestly about her own lived experience of a lifetime of moving from one DFV situation to another. Colleen and Liz wanted to put this webinar together to raise awareness of the importance of building the knowledge of as many Australians as possible, in how to recognise DFV, either in their own lives or the in the lives of their loved ones, AND TO DISCOVER WHAT THEY CAN DO ABOUT IT.
